Job Responsibilities:

Analyze, gather, and document business and technical requirements for Magento-based e-commerce platforms.

Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate design and functional requirements into robust e-commerce solutions.

Perform complex data and system integration across APIs, payment gateways, and inventory systems.

Develop and maintain custom Magento modules, themes, and integrations aligned with client objectives and brand standards.

Implement B2B and B2C features including multi-vendor support, pricing engines, cart sharing, and user-based restrictions.

Conduct workshops and client discussions to review project architecture and ensure delivery traceability.

Work in Agile environments, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and code reviews.

Assist QA teams during UAT, debug issues, and ensure quality of deliverables against user stories and functional specs.

Document technical designs, custom workflows, and deployment configurations using Jira, Confluence, and related tools.
Technical Skills:

Expertise in Magento 2 (Open Source, Commerce, and Cloud editions).

Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML/CSS, KnockoutJS, and REST/SOAP/GraphQL APIs.

Experience integrating payment gateways like Payfort, Apple Pay, PayPal, Authorize.net, and Worldpay.

Skilled in implementing headless commerce using AEM, Node, and Angular.

Strong understanding of caching, queuing (RabbitMQ), Elasticsearch, and performance tuning.

Experienced in custom API development, checkout customization, and inventory sync mechanisms.

Familiar with tools like Docker, Jenkins, SonarQube, Git, and Bitbucket.

Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
Skills Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

5+ years of experience in e-commerce development with a focus on Magento.

Adobe Certified Professional—Adobe Commerce Developer (preferred).

Proven ability to design and implement custom modules and complex e-commerce workflows.

Experience working with cloud environments like Adobe Commerce Cloud, Nexcess, AWS.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
